Annual Book Sale Saturday & Sunday October 24 & 25, 2009

Hours: Saturday 10 am - 4:30 pm & Sunday 1 pm – 4:30 pm

 

You can VOLUNTEER!  Opportunities abound for the sedentary, the active, and those seeking a good workout!  Help set up on Friday, October 23, any time between 10 and 5 (move boxes - a car is a plus, sort books, check prices online);  or work on sale days (take money, sort and re-stock materials, check online).   Please call 617-277-6608 or email jonathan_allen@juno.com .

 

You can COME and BUY!  We have terrific inventory this year, something for everyone, all at great prices at the sale,  Bring along a friend or two and shop to your heart’s content!

Proceeds directly benefit programming and other good works at the Library.

On a separate note, come to our follow-on Evening with Madame White Snake – Thursday, November 12, 7 pm, Brookline Main Library,  2nd floor (doors open at 6:30).  Join librettist Cerise Jacobs, entrepreneur Hsiu-Lan Chang, and cast members and accompanist, for a musical sneak preview of this new opera to be premiered in Boston in February, based on the ancient Chinese myth of Madame White Snake.
